Data-Mate, a Finnish family-owned company established in 1986, offers high-quality solutions for labels and roll labels. Our advanced printing technology ensures sharp colors, consistent printing results, and durable materials, with fast deliveries and cost-effective options for both long and short runs.
Our ultra-fast digital printing machine rivals the capabilities of traditional flexographic (flexo) printing, making us highly competitive in both speed and cost for high-volume orders. With UV-inkjet technology, Data-Mate can efficiently produce large quantities of labels at competitive prices, delivering sharp colors, consistent print quality, and durable materials. This is ideal for clients who need high-volume labels quickly and affordably. In addition, there are no plate costs, allowing greater flexibility to include multiple label designs within a single run.
We provide exceptional print quality and precise color reproduction using advanced UV technology. Our process produces bright, durable colors that remain stable over time—even when exposed to light, moisture, or handling. Our colors stay consistent across different production batches, ensuring no color variation. Our labels don’t require an additional varnish layer, as the colors stay flawless without any extra protection.
One of the greatest advantages of digital printing is its flexibility and speed. Data-Mate offers faster delivery times, crucial for industries facing quick market changes. This ensures that our clients receive their labels on time and can respond effectively to changing market demands.
With years of experience, Data-Mate has earned a reputation as a trusted and reliable partner. By prioritizing cutting-edge technology and continuous improvement, we deliver efficient production, exceptional quality, and fast delivery times.
As a family-owned business, we understand each client’s unique needs and offer personalized service. We prioritize building strong partnerships to ensure every result exceeds the expectations. Choosing Data-Mate means you become part of a family that genuinely cares about your success.

Traditional labels are single-sided labels used on products or packaging. They typically feature printed product information such as a logo, product name, ingredients, instructions for use, a barcode, or other essential details.
Applications: Commonly used in food, beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, household appliances, and other consumer products. Traditional labels are the most prevalent type of label because they are cost-effective and easy to produce in large quantities
Layered labels are multi-layered labels designed to present additional information across multiple pages or layers. At first glance, they appear as traditional labels, but they can be opened or peeled back to reveal more content, such as instructions or promotional messages.
Applications: Particularly useful for products requiring extensive information in a compact space, such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, or food items. For example, these labels can include ingredient lists, warnings, or translations in multiple languages.
Double-sided labels are labels with printing on both sides. One side of the label is visible on the outside of the product, while the other side can be placed on the inside of a transparent package.
Applications: Commonly used on beverage bottles, cosmetic products, and other items where maximizing space is important. For example, the front side can display marketing text, while the back side can show nutritional information or other relevant details.
Hot foil stamping is a printing technique that uses metallic or colored foil, which is applied to the label using heat and pressure. This method creates glossy, metallic, or holographic details on the label, giving it a sophisticated and eye-catching appearance.
Applications: Commonly used on luxury products such as perfumes, premium wines and spirits, cosmetics, and gift packaging. Hot foil stamping attracts attention and enhances the perceived value and quality of the brand.
Embossing is a printing technique where the label surface is raised in a three-dimensional design by pressing a pattern or text into it. This creates a textured, raised element that adds both visual and tactile interest.
Applications: Particularly used on luxury and premium product packaging, such as wine bottles, cosmetics, and gift items. Embossing can highlight logos, product names, or other important elements, making the label appear more luxurious and distinctly noticeable.
Adhesive side printing refers to labels where the printing is done on the adhesive side of the label, the side that attaches to the packaging. The print is visible through transparent products or bottles, adding visual depth and interest.
Applications: Commonly used on transparent packaging, such as beverage bottles or cosmetic products. This printing technique gives the product a unique appearance and can include hidden messages, instructions, or marketing elements that are visible through the packaging.
Spot UV coating is a finishing technique where a clear coating is applied only to specific areas of the label, such as the logo or text, creating a glossy, raised effect on those parts. The coating can be glossy, matte, or UV, which dries quickly and adds value to the label.
Applications: Commonly used on luxury and specialty products where specific elements need to be emphasized. Spot UV coating is often found on cosmetics, premium alcoholic beverages, and electronics, as it creates a professional and polished look.
Laminating is a protective layer applied to the label to increase durability. The laminate can be either glossy or matte, and it protects the label from moisture, wear, and other external factors, making it especially useful in harsh conditions.
Applications: Commonly used on food packaging, beverage bottles, and other products that are exposed to moisture or wear. Laminating enhances the label’s lifespan and prevents damage, for example, from being on store shelves or during use.
Labels that are customized for each product individually through features such as numbering or coding. Numbering, including serial numbers or sequential numbers, enables the unique identification of products, for example, in limited product batches, campaigns, or traceability applications. Coding, such as barcodes and QR codes, adds interactive functionalities to labels, supporting logistics, inventory management, and customer communication.
